Ride Description: This relaxed ride targets the 49er Country Club, the only club where Jack Nicklaus played competitively in Tucson (in 1963 and 1964). Jack did not make the cut in 1963 but atoned for it later.
We will ride 3 different loops (about 4 miles) through the Country Club on perfect pavement, then have a rest stop at the desert oasis at Agua Caliente Park. We will also visit Bel Air Ranch Estates, the first equestrian development in Tucson.
Clockwise or counterclockwise for diversity.
A signed Ride Waiver must be on file for each rider. Waivers are e-signed annually in October, or upon joining the club. If your signed Ride Waiver is not current, or if you have not yet signed a Ride Waiver, a copy of the Ride Waiver can be downloaded here. Please send it to admin@cactuscycling.org before the ride.
