Levels: C ish and B ish
Ride description:Foothills Loop and Foothills Lite, each about two hours.
Foothills Loop: We will take Sabino Cyn. Rd. south to the Rillito bike path, which we will take to Dodge. There, hop over to River Rd., then Via Entrada, First, Ina-Skyline-Sunrise. Time permitting, go up Craycroft and back down Kolb, then return to start for happy hour.
Foothills Lite: a shorter, mellower version. Foothills Lite will loop for approximately 24 miles; proceeding south on Sabino Canyon Rd, riding through Tucson Country Club to join up with the Rillito Bike Path at Tanque Verde Road. We will then proceed on the scenic loop trail ( crossing over to the north side of Rillito at Craycroft) until we pass Campbell Rd. Just after the bike and pedestrian bridge we will take the spur north to River and Via Entrada, some climbing through neighborhoods as we wind our way up to Skyline Dr (north on Via Entrada, east on Camino Cresta, north on Miraval). We ride east along Skyline/Sunrise, up and down a few rolling hills, to intersection with Sabino Canyon Rd, where we turn right and head down hill to our destination.
Eat, drink and socialize outdoors at Three Canyon Beer and Wine after the rides.

We are currently requiring all riders to be vaccinated.
A signed Ride Waiver must be on file for each rider. Waivers are e-signed annually in October, or upon joining the club. If your signed Ride Waiver is not current, or if you have not yet signed a Ride Waiver, a copy of the Ride Waiver can be downloaded here. Please send it to admin@cactuscycling.org before the ride.
