Level: Two Rides : B/B+ or C/C+
Note the different start place and time.
Terrain: Basically all hill
Distance: up to 29 miles
Ride leaders: Doug and Roberta Toussaint
Ride Description: Two rides today, hopefully something for everyone.
We will try something different that we hope will work in the hot weather: ride the top half of Mt. Lemmon where it is cool. If this works out, we will do it several times during the summer.
Since it is out and back (or maybe up and down), you can ride as little as you want. Roberta will ride to the Cookie Cabin for a cookie, and then return to Windy Point --- about 22 miles round trip. Doug will take a side trip up to Ski Valley, or to the observatory gate if people are feeling good, and then make a stop at the Cookie Cabin. (About 29 miles round trip.)
We are currently requiring all riders to be vaccinated.
A signed Ride Waiver must be on file for each rider. Waivers are signed annually at the first test ride or upon joining the club. If your signed Ride Waiver is not current, or if you have not yet signed a Ride Waiver, a copy of the Ride Waiver can be downloaded here. Please send it to admin@cactuscycling.org before the ride.
