Ride Description:
Come join us for a leisurely ride to search for and enjoy some of the many art pieces located along the Rillito River section of the Chuck Huckelberry Loop. Most of us have seen and admired the bat family sculpture shown above, but this is just one of 29 art pieces along the Rillito section alone. We will start at the loop just across from Ren Coffee at Saint Phillip's Plaza. The plan is to ride west on the north side of Rillito, crossing over to south side at La Canada and proceed west to tne Extreme Batty Biker. We will turn around here and start searcing for the many art pieces. At La Canada we will return to bike path on north side of Rillito and proceed east to the bridge at Mountain, where we will cross over to south side again and proceed east to Country Club, once again returning to North side. From here we stay on north side to Craycroft,then cross over to south side of Rillito and returning east to Dodge where we cross a final time to north side and return to our starting location. Stay and join us for lunch afterwards on the patio of Union Public House (also at Saint Phillip's Plaza).
