Expecting high temps and possibly even a little humidity since monsoon has arrived, so shortening this ride to eliminate the part down to Marana. INSTEAD: We will just do an out-and-back to the park in Dove Mt., taking Tangerine Rd. both ways. If there is time we may add the short out-and-back climb through the tunnel at Moonlight Canyon (adds ~2.5 miles). Modified route about 30 miles total.
Normal Ride Description: The Dove Mt. route in our usual (clockwise) direction. Head out along Cortaro to Silverbell, then Coachline, Twin Peaks and Dove Mt. roads to the park at the end of the road. Regroup, water and restrooms at the park. Return along Moore, Thornydale, Tangerine and La Canada Rds.
