The Dove Mountain Ride... Ride with GPS route link
Due to the forecast for extreme heat by mid-morning this week, we have adjusted the route to avoid the Cortaro area in Marana.
Ride to and through the scenic roads in Dove Mountain.

The revised ride due to heat will head out NORTH along La Canada, then left on Tangerine Rd to the intersection at Twin Peaks. Then turn right to go N up and over the hill on Dove Mt. with a stop for water and restrooms at the usual stop at Dove Mountain West Park at the very bottom end of Dove Mt. Rd. Return along Dove Mtn with a short left at the roundabout to head N to the turnaround at the Ritz-Carlton resort parking lot and then back to Dove Mtn Rd. Go left after this short loop to get back onto Dove Mountain Rd, then up and over the hill as usual and turn L onto Moore Rd at the stop light there. We'll proceed onto Moore but take the short N detour off Moore at Thornydale into the uphill tunnel at Moonlight Canyon, then back to Moore and proceed west to La Canada Rd as usual - where we go right (S) to get back to the start at Brueggers.
A riders are welcome to ride out ahead of the B group.
